Description
A really lovely and unusual antique turquoise and rose cut diamond ring. No hallmarks on this ring, but has been tested as 10ct/k gold. The turquoise is natural and a beautiful light green colour. Nine rose cut diamonds surround the central large turquoise.
It is set in a closed back setting and has been done in a relatively crude way, please do see photos included to help form part of the description.
There does also seem to be some former resizing to the band, so further alterations should be done with the utmost care (and avoided if possible).

Turquoise is the birthstone of December (along with tanzanite and zircon). It was one of the first ever gemstones to be mined and has long been prized for its intense and beautiful colour. Although turquoise is a widely available stone, it is rarely found in its pure, natural form.
