Description
Now this is a lovely antique turquoise ring, with five turquoise gems. The turquoise are securely held in place with multiple three prongs, which seem to form little shamrocks. Hallmarked 18ct gold and with a makers mark for TB. This lovely ring doesn’t have an assay mark, or a date letter, but we estimate it to be late Victorian/Edwardian in style and setting.
As you can see by the photos uploaded, the turquoise is not uniform in colour, but is beautiful nonetheless and shows that this ring has been well loved.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December (along with tanzanite and zircon). It was one of the first ever gemstones to be mined and has long been prized for its intense and beautiful colour. Although turquoise is a widely available stone, it is rarely found in its pure, natural form.
