Information about the gems found in this ring:
Opals (along with tourmaline) are the birthstone of October. Opal are such a popular gemstone due to the stunning play of colours and beauty displayed. They are thought to enhance the creativity and artistic abilities of a person and are also believed to bring good fortune, peace, joy and wealth to the wearer.
Diamonds are the birthstone for the month of April. The name diamond comes from the ancient Greek word ‘adamas’ meaning ‘unconquerable’ and there is good reason for this! They are the hardest natural substance on earth and are made up of nearly 100% carbon and the only thing that will scratch one is another diamond! As the saying goes ‘diamonds are a girl’s best friend’ and make a perfect long lasting and beautiful stone for engagement and eternity rings.
