An absolutely beautiful Edwardian rose de France amethyst and split pearl brooch crafted in 9ct gold and in the Art Nouveau style.
The central amethyst is a gorgeous light lilac/pink colour and measures 16.5 x 12.5mm. It is approximately 9cts, which for a normal amethyst is fairly common, however rose de France amethysts are usually not found this large.
The brooch has a lovely open work design, which means it can be worn may ways and we think it would look lovely used as a pendant too.
In very good antique condition and complete with original fitted and tooled box.
