The Cat and The Fiddle – Reverse Painted Intaglio Pendant – Sterling Silver

Here we have a fabulous vintage reverse painted intaglio with a design of The Cat and The Fiddle from the classic nursery rhyme. We have made it into a pendant using a vintage mother of pearl disc backing and have fully encased in sterling silver.

I have listed this as a reverse painted intaglio and not Essex Crystal as others might do.  Whilst this is a rare design and there is good detail to it, I believe it dates to the 50s/60s than true antique Essex Crystal pieces.

We do have other designs in sterling silver and a couple available in 9ct gold and welcome requests on these.
