Description
An absolutely gorgeous Victorian crescent brooch with a large central Madeira citrine ( 14mm in diameter and approx 9cts). The gold surround is in the Etruscan revival style with cannetille detail and is 15ct gold. Secured with c clasp.
We think that this brooch is the perfect celestial piece, the moon surround complemented by the rich citrine sun in the middle.
This brooch is in wonderful condition, no chips or nibbles to citrine and metal work excellent.
Total size 22mm.
