Description
A really sweet and large Victorian forget-me-not mourning brooch with turquoise inlaid into chalcedony in a 9ct gold frame.
The 9ct gold frame is not hallmarked, but has been electronically tested. Please note the brooch fittings and screws are base metal.
Condition
It’s not in perfect condition, however is perfectly wearable. It has a nibble out of the chalcedony to the left hand side. Some previous repair has been noted – the frame is not completely uniform and signs of discoloured glue to the reverse.
