Information about the gems found in this ring
Turquoise is the birthstone of December (along with tanzanite and zircon). It was one of the first ever gemstones to be mined and has long been prized for its intense and beautiful colour. Although turquoise is a widely available stone, it is rarely found in its pure, natural form. The turquoise found in this ring, is Robin’s Egg turquoise ( as the colour represents the eggs of the Robin) and is one of the most highly prized turquoise gems.
