Description
A wonderful vintage colour change sapphire (synthetic/lab created) ring crafted in 14ct gold (electronically tested as no hallmarks). The sapphire sits in a wonderful carved gallery and is securely held in place with claw settings.
Now this ring was sold to me as an amethyst, however looking at it closely, it became apparent it had a beautiful shift in colour. Colours range from a bluish purple to a violet purple in different light conditions. It’s been tested and low and behold it is in fact a colour change sapphire (synthetic/lab created).
The sapphire measures 10.7mm diameter and has a depth of 7.9mm with an estimated 6.75ct.
