An absolutely darling vintage sapphire horseshoe ring crafted in 9ct gold. Assayed in London, with a date stamp for 1978. The horseshoe is facing to the side, which to our thinking means luck for everyone.

Horseshoes and Luck
The horseshoe has long been considered very lucky and used to be hung in homes to protect it and attract good fortune for the family residing inside. As with other lucky talismans, there are many interpretations about which way to hang, hold, wear a horseshoe for luck. The one we’ve always believed is that a horseshoe facing open end up collects luck for yourself/household, whereas facing down shares luck with others. So we think with this one facing sideways it’s a happy mix of the two and therefore there is luck for everyone, WIN WIN!
