Absolutely beautiful Art Nouveau opal and diamond brooch. The opal is full of fire and displays the colours of the rainbow and the diamond is bright and crisp. Modelled as a flower held by two bars. Hallmarked on the back for 15ct gold. This brooch is complete with it’s original safety chain.
Flowers and natural forms and shapes were very important in the Art Nouveau era and this brooch is a perfect example of the craftsmanship displayed during those times.
